It is such a delicious combination to give to babies who are starting first stage weaning.
Whenever my baby doesn’t like a certain type of vegetable or fruit I would not stop giving, I would combine them with the ones that I know he likes instead. In this case is apple, he has never been a fan of apple since I have offered him the first time. Even with just tiny little taste of apple he would cringe his whole face and keep his mouth sealed!
Ingredients
- 2 large carrots
- 1 sweet apple
- 1 ripe pear
- 50-100ml (add slowly)
Method
- Steam carrots for 15 mins in a baby cook.
Remove and steam apple for 5 mins. Or steam for 10 min in a steamer and then add apple and steam for another 5 mins. - Add liquid, and blend until desired consistency. .
- If using breast milk then wait until everything has cooled down first before blending. .
- This is suitable for freezing. Do not freeze if you have used thawn beastmilk.
