Super Kale & Mixed Vegetables Puree with Quinoa [7-8m+]

This puree is packed with goodies and what’s better is that it tastes so good! 😋 So easy to make! 👍

I gave baby C a small portion for lunch at home as he’s now also eating fingerfood and another normal portion in nomnomkids #reusablepouch when we went out in the afternoon. The pouches even fit my Fill n Squeeze fill station!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup chopped kale
  • 2 medium carrots (peeled & chopped)
  • 1 small parsnip (peeled & chopped)
  • 1 leak 20cm (cut)
  • 1 large apple (peeled, cored & cut)
  • 1/8 cup quinoa

Method

  1. Steam everything except for quinoa together for 15 mins.
  2. Boil quinoa as per packaging instruction.
  3. Blend everything together until you’ve reached your desired consistency.
  4. Suitable for freezing
